From the outset I have to say that this is not going to be a formal or even an accurate record of our social and fund raising activities. As I have volunteered for this task I reserve the right to bend and exaggerate the truth, all in the cause of a good story.

The Club has been on the go since 1981 and as far I can ascertain there are few photos or written records of the many fund raising and social events which have taken place over those 28 years. There are of course plenty of dry financial statements which can be viewed by all but I hope that this blog reflects the other aspect of the club - drinking, socialising, banter and somewhere to go on alternate Tuesdays when the TV's rubbish.
