Indian Meal Nov '10

Excellent Indian meal was enjoyed by Lions and their ladies at the Moghul restaurant in Southwell on Wednesday 10th Nov. Great selection of food, very tasty and only £15, including the tip and complimentary sambuka (not sure of the spelling) - very impressed. Nick's doing his impression of the French bartender Rene Artois in the Indian version called Aloo Aloo.

Apologies to all those who have disappeared behind others although looking at some of the faces I think a few wish they were obscured. Mr Easty ate so much the restaurant have renamed one of their dishes the Roger Josh (Medium hot and spicey with chunky bits)

Pumpkin Carving Nov 2010

The annual pumpkin carving in readiness for Firework Night. Operating with the precision of surgeons, Malcolm and David plunge their instruments into the outer shell whilst Graham digs out the innards.

David has designs to be a plastic surgeon.

Whilst Mal is clearly a pumpkin virgin.

Graham scoops out the gizzards

Surrounded by witches and wizards

But the results will be just fine

With one more glass of wine.
